

















































Alexandra Hulsey is a versatile artist known for exploring personal and cultural identity through the convergence of photography, writing, and mixed mediums. Her work delves deep into social landscapes, uncovering overlooked places with profound significance. Nature often serves as a metaphor for her concepts.
Hulsey earned her BFA with a Photography major at Pacific Northwest College of Art, receiving the Dorothy Lemelson Full-Tuition Scholarship in 2016. She has exhibited in shows such as Limbo, New Texas Talent, and Art214 in Dallas, TX, Taking Pictures at Black Box Gallery and Surface at Melaine Flood Gallery in Portland, OR, as well as internationally What We Eat and Wear at the CICA Museum in South Korea. Rooted in Texas, her work mirrors her upbringing and encourages contemplation of our interconnected existence.
With a profound passion for creativity, she has established herself as a supportive presence in the local Dallas art scene and beyond, producing programming at Dallas Contemporary, including DC Summer Series, curation and visual merchandising of the museum’s shop, and serving as Dallas Contemporary’s communications and graphic design manager.
